Frequently Asked Questions

Now this might sound a little odd, but the best way to preserve your sterling silver and electroplated jewellery is by keeping them freshly sealed in a reusable bag or airtight container. Silver tarnishes by exposure to air and moisture and sun, so a cool, dark place will always be highly recommended.

To clean, use a soft polishing cloth, and a special cleaning solution that can be purchased online or from your local jeweller. Silver hates harsh chemicals, so spray your hair and perfume before donning your jewels (your hearing devices would agree on this too!)

We have a pretty good selection of the Deafmetal products, but not the whole catalogue. If there is something you particularly want, you can still get hold of it from the Deafmetal.store website – you might just have to wait a little longer for shipping. Otherwise, send us an email and let us know what we should be stocking! hello@hearduk.com

There are so many different types of hearing devices out there, and the majority of our products work across the variations. If in doubt, please email us to ask about specific models at hello@hearduk.com

How do you use the Deafmetal Holster?

The silicon holsters are fantastically stretchy and will fit over all kinds of hearing aids, and cochlear implants. They do not work on the BAHA devices.

When fitting the holster just make sure you don’t cover the microphone!

See this short video for a demonstration of how easy it is to Deafmetal.
